Milo's Musing
For what it's worth

So I was going to make goat stew today, but then it got late and I hadn't started, so I'm going to make it tomorrow I guess. Here is what I'm going to put in it so far:
Goat meat (duh)
Carrots
Zucchini
Potatoes
Red lentils
Black beans
Chickpeas
In terms of spices and stuff I'm thinking garlic, curry, cayenne, black pepper, salt... what else?
Suggestions/advice welcome.

At long last I got some pictures from graduation off of my mom's camera.
So me and some shit behind the cut.

Perhaps the best line ever uttered in a Disney film is "Seize the fat one!"

Write a paper in time to attend end of semester celebrations this evening and then be done forever.
Ready set go.

So all my posts complaining about the weather are retracted. It is the very most lovely out. The only downside is there is no way in HELL I am going to be able to do any of the much-needed homework while the weather is like this. It's going to be a long night.
In the meantime, I am going to frolic outside.

Why did Mary Magdalene dump Jesus?
Because it took him too long to rise again, and WAY too long for the second coming.

It's generally a given that the Religious Right is insane and inherently offensive, but this is a bit over the top even for them.

I almost want to believe it is satire. The Onion couldn't have done it better.
(Btw, I have no idea what the courage campaign is, or if it's a legit organization, that's just where I found the video.)

I am so angry and horrified I could spit.

This goes beyond a deranged gunman shooting up a campus or a shopping mall. This is a deliberate attack on a community and those who feel solidarity with it.
This is terrorism.

One thing that I love is when a musician audibly draws a breath at the start of a track.

I sat in Dylan's driveway for two hours with a wrench and a can of WD-40 fixing my bike today.
It's not as good as new, but it's good enough for government work, as they say.
What was remarkable, though, is how relaxing the whole thing was. One would think that two hours of bike fixing (that is, repeated failure before a semi-success) would be kind of frustrating, but honestly, it was so pleasant.
I think we're all just so tired of being cooped up indoors or freezing that sitting outside in a t-shirt is incredible, regardless of what we might be doing.

Don't expect it to stick around for long, though. They were disappearing this morning.
